Congratulations to all who took part and attended “The You Raise Me Up! Oblate Gospel Choir and Friends” performance on Wednesday night last, 19 November 2014 here at Our Lady of the Wayside Church Bluebell. It was a great success in terms of attendance, performance and atmosphere.

Bluebell Folk Group, directed by Anne Marie Sissons changing tempo and style with their performances of “Love is a Boat” and “The Greatest Love”.
St Cillian’s Primary School didn’t disappoint with stellar note perfect renditions of “Skate Board” by the Juniors and “Lament” by the Seniors.
Our Lady of the Wayside Parish Choir sang “May the Road Rise to Meet You” and “Take Me Home” accompanied by the junior liturgical dancers – to an increasingly enthusiastic audience.

The Oblate Gospel Inchicore Choir concluded this exciting concert with “You Raise Me Up” to a very appreciative audience.
Closing addresses by Sr Anne Ryan and Fr Peter Clucas. Both thanking the participants, guest musicians, John Lee, Sound Engineer, the audience and those ever faithful backroom helpers who (as is usual) ensured Our Lady of the Wayside Church, Bluebell was in pristine condition for their visitors and performers; the Front of House Staff and raffle ticket sellers (proceeds to Pieta House) and finally the Hospitality Team who ensured that the tea / coffee / treats and wonderful cakes (Karen Deegan take a bow!) were in plentiful supply.
