Our School Ethos

Our Lady of the Wayside established in 1959, is a co-educational Catholic school catering for pupils from infants to sixth class.

The fundamental role of the school is to create space for children to grow in all aspects of their development, academic, social, emotional, physical and spiritual. This is best achieved by good communication and teamwork, involving all those integrally involved in the provision of education to each pupil; key people being teachers, parents, pupils, Board of Management and the wider Bluebell community.

Our Mission Statement
Our Lady of the Wayside N.S. aims to create a safe, positive, child-centered educational environment in which diversity is recognised and individual needs are catered for. The whole school community works in a supportive and caring manner where parental involvement is welcomed and encouraged.
